Spectre: Initial usage
Last weekend, I went for a little walk down to Blackwattle Bay, and spent some time taking some photos on my phone as the sun set.
I had heard about a neat little app that allows you to build long exposure photos easily - Spectre - so I downloaded it while sitting along the bay. I didn’t expect the results that I got back – whilst I wasn’t expecting much, they really were quite impressive.
What I really like about the app is that you can very easily and spontaneously take some shots; you don’t need to plan a shoot and bring along filters and a tripod. Whilst it’s of course better to have a real camera and real equipment to take a proper shot, sometimes life isn’t perfect and you want to take advantage of a last minute moment. In those times, you want something like this - it’s fairly easy to just point and shoot. Boom.
